Where the price scheme is no longer applicable the Active tick box in the Price Scheme form is simply unticked.
Steps
| 1. | Sales  Configuration Price Scheme Maintenance

| 2. | Select the price scheme from the search window |
| 3. | Untick Active |
| 4. | Save the changes |
Attempting
to delete a price scheme that has been used on a sales order or quote
reports the following message 'Cannot delete
as sales orders still reference this price scheme'
